Echodyne is seeking a Principal Software Engineer (C++/Rust with a cybersecurity focus) to design and produce radar equipment subsystems composed of Echodyne's industry-leading radars. In this role, you will engage with an experienced, cross-disciplinary team to create radar systems solutions through high-performance, secure software solutions. You will work closely with colleagues to architect and build security-critical software solutions, mentor junior engineers, and play a key role in shaping the secure development practices of the team. This role demands technical leadership, deep systems knowledge, and a strong security mindset. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. As the primary cybersecurity engineer of the software team, you will lead development projects and processes in a secure software development lifecycle (SSLDC).
