Responsibilities
- Assemble large and heavy parts to complete units or subassemblies on machines.
- Use hand tools, small power tools, and other special equipment/tooling on a regular basis.
- Reassemble or rework units as required.
- Report defects and need for repairs on mobile equipment by following safety check procedures.
- Perform daily housekeeping functions as required.
- Follow safety procedures and Standard Work Instructions.
Requirements
- 6 months of work experience.
- Basic computer experience is required.
- Must be capable and willing to learn the operation and basic care of mobile equipment such as forklifts.
Nice-to-haves
- Parts/Product Assembly Manufacturing experience.
- Mechanical ability.
- Heavy equipment manufacturing experience.
- Overhead hoists and/or crane experience.
- Torque tool experience.
- Intermediate proficiency of Standard Assembly Tools and their applications.
- Intermediate proficiency with Standard Operating Procedures or Standard Work.
- Flexible mindset.
- Previous forklift experience.
