We are looking for a passionate and driven Product Associate to join our dynamic team and help us shape the future of healthcare. We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Designer with a background in healthcare SaaS to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for our suite of healthcare software products. This role requires a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the healthcare industry, as well as a strong grasp of design principles and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and clinicians to define product requirements and design objectives.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to gain insights into user needs, preferences, and behaviors.
- Translate user insights and business requirements into innovative design concepts, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Develop high-fidelity visual designs and interactive prototypes for web and mobile applications, ensuring consistency and coherence across platforms.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders, usability testing, and data analysis.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure successful implementation of designs, providing guidance and support throughout the development process.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in healthcare software design.
- Champion a user-centric design approach, advocating for the needs and preferences of end users throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with other designers working on interconnected projects happening in parallel.
- Use and contribute to a complex multi-product design system.
Requirements
- Degree or certificate in design, user experience, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on healthcare SaaS applications.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Deep understanding of design principles, and user-centered design methodologies.
- A portfolio that shows how you solve problems through your design process.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders at all levels.
- Passion for healthcare technology and a commitment to improving patient outcomes and healthcare delivery.
Nice-to-haves
- Ability to write user-friendly micro-copy, and create/maintain writing a style guide.
- Strong qualitative user research skills, including user interviews and contextual inquiry.
- Experience with conversational design.
- Proven track record delivering patient-driven healthcare experiences.
