As a Product Designer, you'll independently own the UX for significant features, collaborating cross-functionally to discover problems and deliver user-centered design solutions that drive measurable impact. You'll play a crucial role in defining and optimizing the user experience within our products. You'll craft intuitive user flows, design functional interfaces, and ensure consistent interactions across all product touchpoints, demonstrating a proven ability to shape impactful user experiences that are effectively deployed across product features and end-to-end journeys. You'll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, User Researchers, Content Designers, and Key Stakeholders to translate user insights and product requirements into efficient and effective design solutions that align with user needs and business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Translate product and business objectives into user-centered design solutions that directly contribute to product-led growth metrics (e.g., activation, retention, conversion, self-serve adoption).
  • Design and iterate on features that leverage AI and automation to enhance efficiency, personalize user experiences, and deliver demonstrable customer value, contributing to key company or team OKRs.
  • Launch and optimize experiences that encourage users to discover and adopt key features, driving measurable improvements in product engagement and outcomes.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers, User Researchers, Content Designers, and Cross-Functional Stakeholders throughout the discovery, design, and development lifecycle of user flows, product features, and prototypes.
  • Collaborate effectively with Engineers, providing clear specifications and ensuring accurate and efficient implementation of designs, especially for AI-powered features and automated workflows.
  • Develop a deep understanding of user needs and pain points across various segments, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Advocate for intuitive, accessible, and consistent user-centric solutions, ensuring that features, including those incorporating AI/automation, are coherent and delightful throughout the user journey.
  • Autonomously select and apply appropriate user-centered design methods and tools (e.g., journey mapping, user flows, competitive audits, AI-powered design tools or frameworks).
  • Contribute actively to our design system, maintain high-quality deliverables, and ensure design consistency across the product, considering the unique challenges of AI/ML driven interfaces.
  • Proactively partner with Product, Engineering, User Research, and Data/Product Science teams to align on goals and share insights.
  • Clearly articulate design decisions, tradeoffs, and technical considerations, particularly regarding AI/automation capabilities and limitations, fostering a collaborative and data-informed design process that supports product-led growth.
  • Develop design solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and optimized for team processes and impact, often by identifying opportunities for automation within design workflows or the product itself.
  • Consider how design decisions contribute to a simple self-serve user experience.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field, and/or the equivalent of at least 2-5+ years experience in UX design.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and impact across product touchpoints (web apps, mobile apps, emails, SMS, etc.).
  • Expert proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Miro, Adobe CC, or similar tools) and working knowledge of research tools (e.g. UserTesting, Maze, Hotjar, etc.).
  • Experience in partnering with a researcher and/or directly conducting user research and testing, such as 1:1 interviews, surveys, usability testing, and more.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility applied in product design.
  • Ability to articulate and defend design decisions clearly and persuasively.
  • Experience working within and contribution to design systems.
