About the position

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer who will be having hands-on experience with IaaS and PaaS with an emphasis on coding and automating all aspects of the infrastructure. This includes evaluating, designing, developing, and implementing high quality engineering solutions for the bank. You'll be working within a global team on innovative technology.

Responsibilities

  • Strong technical reporting writing across various types of target audiences.
  • Prior experience in working in a scrum team in at least 2 large scale projects.
  • Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction.
  • SCRUM / Project management risk management Knowledge extending to organizational risk appetite and risk strategy awareness.
  • Banking industry specific knowledge or experience in risk frameworks adopted across Industry in delivery preferred.

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct.
  • Lead the India / GBS / ICS/PIM to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principles.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
  • Responsible for helping integration of SCB business applications with HashiCorp Vault for dynamic secrets management.
  • Engineering / deploying / configuring Vault deployments using secure pipelines and terraform.
  • Coordinate solution implementation, advisory, problem management, change control and incident response.
  • Excellent collaborator with business teams, infra teams, security operations and offers technical guidance.
  • Ability to research understand and influence the adoption of security technologies in emerging areas.
  • Contribute to the design, development, documentation, delivery, and support of AWS/Azure IaaS and PaaS services using Azure DevOps repository / pipelines, Terraform and other scripting languages.
  • Ensure cloud infrastructure and services are continuously updated to prevent obsolescence, maintaining compatibility, security, and optimal performance.
  • Implement and maintain robust monitoring and observability to ensure real time visibility, performance tracking and issue detection across cloud environments.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault, Terraform, AWS, Azure DevOps, Linux.
  • Hands-on experience in analysing Cloud watch logs, working with AWS IAM Policies, troubleshooting AWS permissions & policy issues.
  • Hands-on experience creating, deploying & managing Kubernetes clusters in AWS EKS, Redhat OCP.
  • Hands-on experience with managing & deploying HashiCorp Vault.
  • Strong understanding of cloud monitoring, incident management and automation.
  • Hands on experience in delivering AWS / Azure Observability dashboard would be advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools - GIT (Azure Repos), Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, Confluence.
  • Hands-on experience with Golang, Python, JSON, shell scripting for implementing automation use-cases.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, API, API security and Golang.
