Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing a demanding and tight turnaround delivery Product Roadmap.
  • Support the ongoing Product and ensure all 2k+ business users have a good user experience that supports business objectives and meets regulatory compliance.
  • Help expand the current internal portfolio of applications across other linear, digital, and streaming news verticals.
  • Assist in building dynamic relationships with best-in-class vendors to pilot emerging technologies.
  • Lead a group of engineers to oversee the design and schedule of new products.
  • Own the station engagement of hardware install and software upgrades across production control rooms.
  • Contribute to enhancing the Peacock user experience by supporting feature development and optimizing content engagement.

Requirements

  • Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program.
  • Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
  • Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
  • Must be available to work 16-24 hours per week from September 15, 2025 - April 17, 2026.
  • Must be willing to work in New York, NY.

Nice-to-haves

  • Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Previous technical, data, or product work experience preferred.
  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • Some knowledge of the software development lifecycle, software delivery principles, and agile methodologies is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Project Management Software such as Confluence, JIRA, and Smartsheet.
  • Experience in Operations or Live News/Sports production.
  • Interest in Streaming technology and direct-to-consumer media.
