This team of Designers, Product Managers, Data Scientists, Researchers, and Strategists works collaboratively across areas such as Core Growth, User Experience, Bitmoji, Augmented Reality, and Emerging Products. Together, they craft innovative solutions that enhance user connections, elevate content and AR experiences, and drive the growth and evolution of Snapchat's core platform. We're looking for a Product Manager to join our team at Snap Inc!

Responsibilities

  • Own the vision and strategy for the foundational platform that powers all of our customer communications-from email and SMS to push notifications and in-app messages.
  • Define and evangelize a clear and compelling product vision and long-term strategy for the communications platform, focusing on scalability, reliability, and empowering internal teams.
  • Build scalable, reliable, and intelligent systems that empower our product and marketing teams to create seamless, personalized, and effective communications for our users.
  • Develop, prioritize, and manage a data-driven product roadmap, translating internal stakeholder needs into detailed product requirements, API specifications, and user stories.
  • Oversee the entire product development lifecycle from conception to launch, ensuring the platform's APIs and infrastructure are robust and well-documented.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the communications platform, working cross-functionally with engineering, design, and data science to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
  • Define and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as platform uptime, API adoption rates, message deliverability, and cost-effectiveness to inform priorities and drive platform improvements.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the customer communication (CPaaS) and marketing technology landscape.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • 4+ years of experience building and shipping products at a consumer or advertising technology company.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a platform, infrastructure, or technical product role.
  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Direct experience with communication technologies, APIs, and services (e.g., Email, SMS, Push Notifications, Webhooks).
  • Experience working on platforms that serve internal developer and marketing teams.
