About the position

In this position, your work will include to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Gather, and manage, market/customer/internal requirements as well as actively engaging cross functionally to support the organization with Energy storage hardware related tasks. On a typical day, you might be starting with a supplier call with sourcing evaluating new equipment supplier and end the day assisting the sales team in product selection. You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a high level of independency, as you will have the support from your new colleagues in the PM organisation and other stakeholders. For us to be the best match, we expect you to have a good understanding of Product management and experience from working as a product manager for hardware products.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for ensuring that the Hardware solution is competitive in the marketplace.
  • Ensuring that our Hardware solution meets the requirements, in existing and new focus markets.
  • Manage the hardware product portfolio, critical equipment and data across vendors and locations.
  • Collaborate and support our sourcing, proposal, and delivery and after-market organisation in HW related matters.
  • Create and Maintain product documentation such as manuals, application guides, product data and source content for marketing material.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, team player attitude internally and externally.
  • Entrepreneurial drive. Willing to learn new skills and markets.
  • Safety oriented mindset.
  • Ability to self-manage and readiness to work in an international company across different time zones.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of product management experience.
  • Able to manage hardware products and product platforms throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Experience writing product requirements and ensuring they are implemented and managed throughout the product life cycle.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with customers, peers, subordinates, vendors, shop and office in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to travel 20% of the time.
