In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development. One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users. As a Product Manager for Google Ads, you will build foundational communication products (email, voice, chat) enabling Google's support agents, sellers, and marketers to connect with customers. You will build a unified, AI-first, omnichannel experience for Google's advertisers and consumers to engage with Google representatives. You will guide efforts to automate solutions for Google's advertisers using Agentic AI. You will meet customers and deliver personalized AI solutions, and build experiences to scale automation. You will solve user problems, and define and execute a roadmap of how Google provides support and engages customers through automated, intelligent conversations. Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google. We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Define the product goal and roadmap for leveraging Agentic AI to automate user solutions within our communication channels (email, voice, chat).
  • Collaborate effectively with engineering, UX, marketing, legal teams to translate product goals into technical specifications and solutions. Advise on the product impact of technical decisions related to communication platforms and AI model integration.
  • Understand markets, competition, and user requirements.
  • Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master’s degree or PhD in a technology or business related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • 3 years of experience in preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 2 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • Experience with generative AI, agentic AI, or large language models.

Benefits

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
