As a Product Manager II on the Axon VR team, you will work with VR and traditional technologies to build, measure and analyze the platform and content that supports all of the Axon's VR business. The tools, features, and analysis that you create will play a critical role in defining Axon VR's end-to-end reporting and analytics story and shape the future of virtual reality in Public Safety.

Responsibilities

  • Own virtual reality telemetry and reporting feature areas including planning, requirements, and execution.
  • Improve, standardize and automate metrics collection, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Collect and synthesize stakeholder requirements and data, and rationalize against our company, product, and content strategy into actionable plans for the platform features.
  • Make data-informed decisions, but be able to fall back on well-supported intuition and qualitative analysis when data is unavailable.
  • Direct and guide the software product and feature vision, communicate to the cross-functional team, and evolve it based on interactions with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Work with our engineering teams to balance scope, functionality, performance, and time-to-market.
  • Collaborate with other PM's to set performance metrics for the most important functions of the products, and drive the efforts to measure and achieve them.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in math, computer science, data science or related field of study.
  • 3+ years of software product experience with at least 2 years in Product Management.
  • Technical knowledge or experience with data visualization, business intelligence, and data analytics.
  • Exposure to building and shipping enterprise platform features.
  • Detail-oriented, strong analytical skills, creativity in finding ways to generate and use insightful data.
  • Ability to successfully lead through influence and communicate with a cross-functional team.
  • Confidence and comfort working with high degree of autonomy, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated passion for virtual reality technology.
