Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users. We are looking for a Product Manager to drive the product roadmap for the YouTube Commerce platform, that drives billions of dollars in business, and generates value for YouTube’s users, creators, and content partners. In this role, you will be responsible for creating cohesive and trustworthy commercial experiences on YouTube including, new features and platform capabilities to drive growth for YouTube’s ecosystem of paid subscriptions and transactional products, including YouTube Premium, YouTube TV, and Paid Digital Goods. You will optimize the purchase funnel to drive higher purchase conversions and lower involuntary churn and thoughtfully expand payment methods across 120+ countries. Responsibilities

  • Synthesize and drive product strategy from interactions with business stakeholders, legal, marketing, PR and paid product teams using the Commerce Platform.
  • Identify opportunities and build proposals to improve the funnel for YouTube's paid products, prioritize thoughtfully to drive maximum impact.
  • Write product requirements informed by incisive insights, in collaboration with Engineering, UX, Product, Finance, and Legal.
  • Ensure regulatory and billing platform compliance, and employ strong analytics to manage and communicate metrics including conversion rates and churn, lifetime value (LTV) etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking consumer focused products from conception to launch.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master’s degree or PhD in a technology or business related field.
  • Experience with consumer e-commerce, payments or subscription businesses.
  • Experience with software development, data analytics, SQL.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Benefits

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
