Responsibilities

  • Set the direction and strategy for how YouTube on TV viewers consume and interact with the world’s largest and most unique video corpus in the world.
  • Partner with device Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and YouTube’s player infrastructure teams on new playback capabilities that enable new forms of playback only possible on YouTube.
  • Add interactivity and content discovery capabilities to our platform and collaborate with partner teams to scale YouTube’s bets across Sports, Movies and Shows, Music, Shopping, and more.
  • Upgrade by watching traditional TV formats (e.g., Shows and Linear Programming), with the YouTube magic of personalization, fan communities, and interactivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical consumer products from conception to launch.
  • 2 years of experience working with consumer-facing video or streaming platforms and landing multiple UI improvements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master’s degree or PhD in a technology or business related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
  • 2 years of experience in software development, UI/UX, or engineering.
  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 1 year of experience in technical leadership.

Benefits

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
