About the position
This role will be working with our Performance Management team within the HR Apps & Experience organization. You will develop a roadmap to deliver on the product strategy for Performance, and work with other teams to provide Performance insights to other areas of the product. This requires the ability to manage several complex solutions at once and report out to stakeholders across the organization. We view this role as a great opportunity for someone who has some product experience, and is looking for the next challenge on their growth as a PM.
Responsibilities
- Be an expert on our Performance Management product, and drive a product strategy that enables BambooHR’s ambitious company growth goals
- Manage the roadmap: capture work from a wide range of inputs, understand and prioritize this work so your team is always working on the most impactful projects
- Know your product inside and out by owning research, analytics, and qualitative documentation
- Work closely with your technical counterparts to outline solutions and evangelize them throughout the organization
- Collaborate with your team in thinking big, to imagine future solutions that solve these problems
- Motivate a group of committed, intelligent people to do the best work of their careers
Requirements
- 2+ years experience as a Product Manager, with a proven track record of shipping impactful products
- Strong experience working with technical teammates
- Ability to clearly communicate product decisions and the rationale behind them
- Comfortable making decisions without consensus
- Experience working with qualitative customer insights and quantitative customer data to inform decisions
- Ability to balance the need for self-action and pulling in stakeholders to keep everyone on the same page
