About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Manager to join our team. This role involves managing a scrum team, prioritizing tasks, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, technical understanding, and experience working with Salesforce products, particularly Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud. This is a contract position with the possibility of extension, and the candidate must be able to work remotely while adhering to PDT hours.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a scrum team and oversee the day-to-day execution of tasks and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with a Technical Program Manager (TPM) and an Operations Product Manager to handle tickets and cases submitted to the team.
  • Prioritize tickets, assign tasks to engineers, and manage the backlog of planned work (epics/initiatives).
  • Represent the team in complex projects involving multiple teams and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Gather and clarify requirements as needed.
  • Write user stories and manage prioritization.
  • Track KPIs and maintain documentation.
  • Communicate progress to stakeholders, functional owners, and internal team members.
  • Coordinate release announcements and communications (e.g., Slack announcements, documentation).
  • Drive engagement by coordinating cross-functionally and with other teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional experience, preferably in product management, working with diverse stakeholders to implement data solutions.
  • Proven experience managing large projects with multi-team collaboration and interdependencies.
  • Ability to quickly understand systems, technical concepts, and high-level architecture to communicate effectively with data engineers and business partners.
  • Strong ability to translate technical concepts into functional terms and vice versa.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working with remote and global teams.
  • Consistent track record of delivering successful products concurrently and at scale.
  • Proven ability to lead scrum teams and write detailed product/technical requirement documentation.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce products, with a strong preference for Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud experience.
  • Current or former Salesforce Admin/Advanced Admin Certification holder.
  • General/intermediate understanding of database fundamentals and data flows, including tables, queries, APIs, and data mapping.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or equivalent business experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with a wide variety of stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, Data Governance, and Learning & Development.
  • Familiarity with marketing concepts such as audience targeting/segmentation and channels like email, paid media, and content management systems.
  • Experience working with Legal, Privacy, and/or Data Governance teams, including familiarity with data classification, categorization, and access/user management.
  • Experience using or implementing Customer Data Platform (CDP) products.
  • Experience working with or using AI products in product development.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Agentforce products is a bonus.
