About the Job

The Red Hat Product team is looking for a Product Manager to help shape the future of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) management solutions, based in our Raleigh, NC office. In this role, you will become a subject matter expert in Linux OS lifecycles, enterprise architecture, and large-scale content management. You will be responsible for evolving and delivering our product roadmap by collaborating with customers, engineering, marketing, support, and field teams. As the accountable party for driving solution delivery, you will oversee timelines, roadmap execution, and ongoing stakeholder engagement.

What you will do:

* Drive product strategy and roadmap execution in collaboration with cross-functional teams


* Define product features and translate business requirements into technical user stories


* Manage product backlogs, gather and prioritize requirements


* Establish and track KPIs to measure product success and impact


* Align product direction with Red Hat's strategic goals


* Serve as the communication bridge between engineering and stakeholders, including field teams and customers


* Promote the product vision and ensure stakeholder alignment


* Influence cross-functional teams and manage without direct authority



What you will bring:

* Experience in technical product management, product marketing, or enterprise software development


* Strong understanding of infrastructure visibility, content management, and IT operational challenges


* Familiarity with agile methodologies and best practices


* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills


* Ability to influence without authority and adapt in a dynamic environment


* Knowledge or interest in becoming an expert in Linux OS management and lifecycle


* Experience with IT infrastructure technologies including Linux, virtualization, and containers


* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience



The following are considered a plus:

* Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) status is a plus


* Experience with RHEL management tools such as Red Hat Insights, Red Hat Satellite, RHEL System Roles, and Ansible Automation Platform

The salary range for this position is $94,550.00 - $151,170.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat's compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
