Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Product Management Team to align globally
  • Strategic and Tactic market insight - America
  • Interact with internal stakeholders, as well as current and potential clients and partners to determine product requirements
  • Evaluate competitive solutions
  • Identify market trends and market opportunities (tech driven or new client needs)
  • Communicate strategic insights to relevant internal stakeholders
  • Ensuring the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals for the region
  • Understand, evaluate and own the pricing strategy in North America
  • Own and manage profitability of the Access and Intrusion Portfolio
  • Product launch & lifecycle - North America
  • Planning, prioritization and execution throughout the product lifecycle
  • Gathering Voice of Customer and Customer Insights to Drive the Product Roadmap
  • Involve key stakeholders in prioritization for short-, medium- and long-term goals
  • Articulate business requirements to the Engineering Teams
  • Maintain product backlog by creating product features and user stories
  • Validate that business and technical requirements are met during the Sprints
  • Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) activities to ensure business and system requirements are met
  • Validate that required certifications and regulations are met
  • Creating, reviewing, and delivering end-user documentation (user guides, process flow charts, training materials) and training during as well as after the launch
  • Marketing communications to define go-to-market strategy and help understand product positioning, key benefits and the target customer
  • End-of-life product strategy
  • Working with the Commercial teams and key customers on strategic presentations
  • Being the go-to for subject matter expertise and leading day-to-day activities
  • Working with Tech Support teams to ensure that the countries receive the required support
  • Working with Pre-Sales teams to ensure that the countries receive the required support
  • Working with Sales teams where subject matter expertise is needed in client meetings
  • Working with Marketing teams to support their effort in the region

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ Product Owner/Manager or Project Manager experience
  • Preferred Experience in the Security Industry within Intrusion and/or Access Control
  • Experience with launching applications, preferable cloud applications and SaaS business models
  • Experience with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Service minded attitude
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Analytical and quantitative skills; able to resolve issues with well-structured analysis
