About the position

Help shape the future of the Alexa home. We're looking for a customer-obsessed Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead the go-to-market strategy for Alexa Smart Home hardware and software. You'll drive product launches, develop breakthrough messaging, and craft strategies that help millions of customers discover, adopt, and love Alexa's smart home experiences. This is a high-impact role on a fast-paced team where marketing meets innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end product marketing lifecycle for high-priority smart home initiatives-owning GTM strategy, positioning, messaging, launch planning, and performance measurement
  • Define and deliver the customer and business strategy, including goals tied to product adoption, awareness, subscription conversion, and engagement
  • Extract and synthesize insights from customer research, behavioral data, and competitive analysis to inform positioning and influence product/feature development
  • Develop bold, insight-driven GTM plans, including audience segmentation, value propositions, channel strategy, and messaging frameworks for both device and software experiences
  • Drive launch excellence by partnering across product, channel, PR, retail, and on-device teams to deliver coordinated, high-impact customer campaigns
  • Influence partner team roadmaps by identifying unmet customer needs and market opportunities, shaping future product offerings and go-to-market approaches
  • Evaluate performance of marketing initiatives with a strong grasp of customer experience and business outcomes (e.g., adoption, engagement, awareness, revenue impact)
  • Represent the GTM perspective to senior leadership, including regular updates through MBRs, QBRs, and strategic documents such as PR/FAQs and business reviews
  • Identify and solve cross-team gaps and blockers-negotiating resources, aligning roadmaps, and building scalable mechanisms to accelerate impact
  • Build alignment across diverse stakeholder groups, including product, business development, design, analytics, and executive leadership, with clear communication and strong influence

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels

  • Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs
  • Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives
