The Product Marketing Manager will work closely with the Commercial Director, Product Management, Brand, Merchandising, Pricing, Sales and Customer Service to provide commercial input. This role will work cross-functionally to ensure Small Appliances needs are covered in the NPI process and effectively execute field marketing programs to drive growth and sales for Small Appliances. This role will also drive a high level of focus and action on the execution of key projects.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the creative process, messaging, and commercial content for all Small Appliance products.
  • Own and execute all merchandising activities supporting the Small Appliances business, for all channels.
  • Develop and analyze industry and consumer insights.
  • Responsible for development of marketing claims partnering with brand and legal.
  • Assist managing overall Small Appliances NPI projects and existing models.
  • Develop and execute all NPI planning and communication packages for field sales teams.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and coordination across product lines for the SKU portfolio, in store and online.
  • Supervise the product photography, manage F&B content, dimensions, and standardized descriptions to be uploaded into MML, Product Roadmaps and MDM.
  • Creation of collateral outlining all of GE Appliances product offerings for Retail, Contract and Pro/PHVAC channels.
  • Manage retail package artwork, product inserts, POP, printed and online material and training material for the product line.
  • Coordinate key commercialization & marketing strategy presentations for ICS- Review, C-review, Creative Review, etc.
  • Collaborate to prepare for trade shows, conferences, and training activities as required.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited university or college; Marketing or other Business related.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Commercial roles such as sales, marketing, pricing and/or operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive results across a matrix organization.
  • Self-initiative with a hunger for excellence.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute critical tasks in a complex and continually changing environment.
  • High attention to detail and exceptional presentation, project management, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be willing and able to travel to customers and GEA sites, as needed.
  • Experience driving growth in Commercial roles such as sales, marketing, pricing, and/or operations.
  • Experience with Digital strategies – Direct to Consumer, Digital Marketing, Software Sales/Marketing.
  • Experience with Data-driven Marketing.
