About the position

Join the team taking Windows to the cloud-and now, to the frontier of AI! As a Product Marketing Manager - Windows Cloud, you will lead AI-related workstreams that span Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, and emerging AI-powered experiences. This role is ideal for a strategic, technically fluent marketer who thrives at the intersection of product innovation, storytelling, and go-to-market execution. As Product Marketing Manager - Windows Cloud, you will work in deep partnership with engineering and sales teams to lead inbound strategies and cross-functional marketing efforts that help solidify the role that Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop play as the foundation of Windows AI innovation. You will define new product offerings, partnering with product marketing colleagues to understand audience, product-market fit, competitive positioning, and product integrations. As a full-stack product marketer, you will lead key strategies and investments end to end across assigned marketing workstreams, as well as planning for future announcements and product launches in partnership with outbound marketing partners and other customer- and public-facing groups such as brand, narrative, customer readiness, technical support, and public relations teams. This role is critical to connecting Windows Cloud experiences across Windows, AI Business Solutions, and Azure organizations, as well as helping our customers learn about and adopt our virtualization solutions. You will be a strategic thinker, a customer advocate, and a business advocate who can drive growth and adoption for Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop. This is a high-growth, high-visibility role with significant opportunity for learning and impact.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the product marketing strategy for AI-related features and experiences across Windows Cloud solutions, including Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Own the end-to-end positioning and narrative for owned Windows Cloud AI capability workstreams and deliver the value proposition in messaging and in content - ensure customer challenges, key scenarios, product value proposition, and differentiation is highlighted.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure go-to-market strategy meets the business goals and influence full funnel from awareness to consideration to purchase, to deployment, and usage.
  • Develop and maintain the Windows Cloud AI core assets such as pitch decks, demos, videos, roadmap decks, etc. to be used by the field in customer conversations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, outbound marketing, field teams, and others for successful showcase at Microsoft Ignite and other events.
  • Lead competitive analysis and market research to inform product differentiation and influence roadmap decisions.
  • Collaborate with other PMMs to integrate AI narratives into broader Windows Cloud and related product messaging, assets, and campaigns.
  • Represent the voice of the customer and field in product planning, ensuring AI investments align with customer needs and business goals.
  • Contribute to internal storytelling and executive communications around AI strategy and impact.
  • Identify opportunities to grow the overall Windows Cloud business.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in product marketing OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 2+ years experience in product marketing OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience in creating marketing content for various audiences, including technical breakout sessions, executive keynotes, and product demos.
  • 2+ years experience in product marketing in the technology arena

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in product marketing OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in product marketing OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience positioning and messaging of horizontal solutions (e.g. platforms, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Software Development Kits (SDKs), etc.) that enable multiple products or services in the technology market.
  • 1+ year(s) experience of product marketing / product management experience within the AI and/or cloud services space.

Benefits

  • Base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,100 - $169,800 per year.
  • Base pay range for this role in the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area is USD $112,000 - $185,300 per year.
  • Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
