About the position

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the portfolio within the Americas market. Collection and sharing of Market Intelligence in such a way that the Global Organization develops new products, services, and campaigns in line with the Americas market needs. Ensure market share growth and profitability objectives through sales support. This role will be responsible for the Upper Limb product portfolio within the Americas region and reports directly to the Director of Marketing for Chronic Solutions (Americas).

Responsibilities

  • Gather and process market intelligence required to support product portfolio management, go-to-market strategy development and price setting and management.
  • Identify and objectify market opportunities/challenges.
  • Support market sizing.
  • Lead local competitive write-up.
  • Support value mapping for strategic products.
  • Process market intelligence to support decision making.
  • Visualize and track market trends.
  • Gather indication intelligence and process for decision making.
  • Describe payer structures and local DMU’s.
  • Analyze customer segments.
  • Monitor product line health.
  • Track customer segment performance.
  • Manage the product portfolio and product pricing in line with the value proposition with the objective of maximizing sales and profit growth.
  • Lead Rolling Forecast Planning Process.
  • Effectively execute product rationalization by supporting sales in the customer implementation efforts.
  • Support the sales team with product quality / performance items.
  • Define new product objectives in line with the market requirements.
  • Collect product ideas based on market feedback.
  • Support concept refinement- Specifications.
  • Setting pricing goals and objectives in line with global pricing strategy.
  • Lead and execute price changes.
  • Support optimal sales & profit growth.
  • Develop customer events to drive strategic initiatives and new product launch activities.
  • Lead sales enablement initiatives (e.g., education, engagement and give direction on focus areas within the strategic product portfolio).
  • Participate in the annual business planning process and lead development of the annual sales training meeting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years experience in product management and marketing with life science/medical device products.
  • Prior experience with commercially available prosthetic and/or orthotic devices preferred.
  • Prior experience in business development and/or sales roles preferred.
  • Good analytical and project management skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage/influence without authority and facilitate cross functional teams.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and a proven ability to interact with individuals at different levels in the organization.
  • Utilizes the most commonly used software packages to include Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with a CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated task management and organizational skills utilized in prior work experience.
