As a Product Owner dedicated to Data and Analytics, you will serve as the key liaison between analytical teams, end users, and development units. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that data-driven products align with user needs while integrating seamlessly into the broader data strategy. You will be the primary point of contact for stakeholders, responsible for analyzing their data processes, understanding their analytical requirements, and translating these into specific data features and solutions. In this role, you will be tasked with breaking down complex data requirements into functional specifications or user stories, ensuring the analytics solutions deliver maximum value and insights to users. This position requires a deep understanding of IGT's data and analytics portfolio, which is designed to empower stakeholders through advanced insights and drive informed decision-making across the organization. Your contribution will be critical to product delivery, as you take charge of stakeholder needs analysis, manage analytical requirements, document data features, and develop analytics-focused user stories. You'll work closely with data scientists, product managers, and engineering teams to ensure the final solutions meet stakeholder needs and align with IGT’s strategic objectives. This position offers a dynamic environment where your decisions will directly impact the success of data products and enhance organizational performance. Responsibilities

  • Lead Customer Engagements: Conduct discussions and workshops with customers to understand their needs, translating these insights into actionable product solution reporting requirements.
  • Manage Customer Requirements: Develop business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, prioritize based on lottery customer feedback, market trends, and business value.
  • Coordinate Across Product Lifecycle: Work closely with product team to support day-to-day efforts and ensure seamless product implementation. Coordinate data and analytics reporting needs and processes with stakeholders to address any challenges or changes needed during delivery.
  • Develop Artifacts: Create business and functional product data documentation and reporting and customer-facing dashboards.
  • Enhance Customer Support: Provide continuous guidance and assistance to customers, fostering product engagement and maximizing its usage.
  • Understand and Shape Product Vision: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and influence the vision for the Connected Play analytics roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Experience: Candidates must have 4+ years in data & analytics, business analysis, product ownership, or a related field.
  • Technical Expertise: Familiarity with mobile apps and web-based products is essential. Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, Polarion-X, or similar is important.
  • Transaction Processing Knowledge: A solid understanding of transaction processing systems, such as lottery transaction engines or fintech solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills are necessary to persuasively present insights and recommendations while engaging confidently with stakeholders.
  • Management Abilities: Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal capabilities are needed to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time and work across multiple time zones is required.
