Perform a variety of duties in loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near plant, yard, or work site. Responsibilities include performing any combination of receiving, storing, and distributing tasks to assist in the distribution of product, pulling and stacking product based on daily orders, and meeting specifics of customer orders in a timely manner. The role also involves maintaining products separated, organized, and in good rotation, supporting preventative maintenance plans, and monitoring product quality frequently to report problems that mitigate safety issues. Additionally, the position requires completing production and quality logs, furnishing accurate counts on load tags, and ensuring all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format with required information. It is essential to document all required information in accordance with SOPs and to utilize a continuous improvement mindset to assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes. Reporting any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately is crucial, as is maintaining safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues. The employee must follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
