RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Product Release Manager - Tech Firm in New York, New York (NY).
Description:
The Product Release Manager is a critical and highly visible cross-functional product role that has operational oversight of firm's product schedule and coordination. The ideal candidate will have experience in product management, software development lifecycle, product marketing and commercialization efforts and can simultaneously drive these activities towards a coordinated release date.
The ideal candidate will be an inspirational leader of products and people, willing to roll up their sleeves and lead by example while demonstrating attention to detail and the ability to manage and coordinate complex cross-functional dependencies and schedules. The ideal candidate will be polished and able to effectively represent all activities associated with a successfully coordinated release across product, technical and business teams within the company.
Job Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
* Degree in Computer Science or related technical field is preferred
* 2-6 years as a digital Project or Product Manager with strong release management experience
* Exceptional people skills with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects through influence and communication towards coordinated task completion
* Training in project management practices preferred
* Knowledge of typical activities related to the software development lifecycle and product commercialization
* Have familiarity with online ad ecosystem and associated measurement techniques and/or metrics
* Experience managing the development and release of products in fast-paced but coordinated manner
* Organized with rigorous attention to detail, drive for excellence, and positive -can-do- approach
* Advanced written and verbal communication skills
