About the position

The Product Support Technician is responsible for supporting new product launches and ongoing commercial activities to help drive above-market growth for the company. This position partners with marketing, sales and R&D teams to identify product demo models and organizes all logistics related to procuring, maintaining, packing, shipping, setting up and tearing down product demonstrations at both in-house and customer-facing events. An individual in this role will coordinate all necessary steps to ensure demo models are available during conferences and peer-to-peer education events. Working closely with the commercial teams, this role will ensure the appropriate demo materials and models are provided to support the sales process.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain proper levels of product demo inventory on-site at company headquarters for Imperative Care products
  • Ensure simulation model inventory, including all ancillary components, is available timely for scheduled events
  • Source ancillary products and materials as needed
  • Perform maintenance of demo models, assessing repairs and schedule necessary appointments with vendors
  • Establish relationships with contractors/vendors and monitor work orders to ensure tasks are completed according to marketing specifications and in alignment with the medical device field
  • Work with manufacturing and sales operations to determine demand forecast for demo units
  • Support product managers in developing demonstration models on new and existing product lines
  • Partner and collaborate with internal stakeholders in developing new ideas and recommendations for demonstrating Imperative Care products
  • Support the sales, marketing and product development teams during product demonstrations as needed
  • Ensure new field sales members are equipped with necessary demo materials and assist ongoing with all demo product needs for the sales team

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of technical experience in the medical device or bio-tech industries, or related field; or equivalent combination of education/training and work experience
  • Prior experience with catheters, endovascular/neurological devices, R&D, or operations is preferred
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in a technical field is a plus
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Positive attitude and service oriented
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, in-person and over email
  • Experience supporting activities related to conferences and sales/customer events preferred
  • Proven ability to manage and meet deadlines and team expectations
  • Proficiency with PC-based applications, including Microsoft 365 is required
  • Creative thinker and problem-solver; Goal-oriented and self-motivated
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and projects with effective time management skills
  • Proactive, collaborative, and results-driven work style
  • Ability to work as a team member, be flexible and adaptable, and to work under pressure
