About the position
The position involves managing product responsibilities related to EM360 equipment management software, Smart Test Cell, Advantest Power Optimization System, Clamping Force Fixture, VGEM, and production software on Advantest V93000 (V93K) testers. The role requires designing and delivering test cell production solutions that are compatible with Advantest test systems to meet customer needs, integrating these solutions into their production flow. The candidate will lead customer engagement during various phases of the sales process, including requirements discovery, analysis, demonstrations, benchmarks, competitive and value positioning, and implementation/execution. Additionally, the role involves participating in a cross-functional team to develop creative, cost-competitive products or solutions in response to customer requirements, sharing new product knowledge and use cases with key stakeholders, collaborating with global R&D, Field Service Business Development, and Local Account teams, and submitting Engineering Change Requests (ECR) to R&D to log issues or enhancement requests. The candidate will also be responsible for software installation, upgrades, integration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Product responsibilities include EM360 equipment management software, Smart Test Cell, Advantest Power Optimization System, Clamping Force Fixture, VGEM, Production software on Advantest V93000 (V93K) testers
- Design & deliver test cell production solutions compatible with Advantest test systems to address customer needs, integrating the solutions into their production flow
- Lead the customer engagement during various phases of the sales process including requirements discovery, analysis, demonstrations, benchmarks, competitive + value positioning, and implementation/execution
- In response to customer requirements, participate in a cross-functional team to develop creative, cost-competitive products or solutions
- Share new product knowledge and use cases with key stakeholders
- Collaborate with global R&D, Field Service Business Development & Local Account teams
- Submit ECR (Engr. Change Requests) to R&D to log issues, or enhancement requests
- Software installation, upgrades, integration, deployment, and troubleshooting
Requirements
- BS Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
- Familiarity with automated test systems preferably on V93000 tester (V93K)
- Software development experience in C++, Python, Perl, Java
- Knowledge of Linux operation and development environment including Linux shell commands and scripts
- Experience with databases (e.g. SQL) & networking
- Software support & integration
- New Product Introduction (NPI) experience
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Resourcefulness and aptitude in troubleshooting to determine root cause
