About the position

Under the general direction of the Quality Leader, abstracts, analyzes, collates, reports, maintains and presents information for outcomes for measured patient populations in support of clinical performance improvement activities and peer review. Initiates clinical care quality improvement and performance monitoring in collaboration with department staff, leadership and providers. Works with the Medical, Nursing and Ancillary teams in the medical center and outpatient settings to improve patient care, and remains an active member of applicable measure outcome committees.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher from an Accredited educational institution.
  • Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License.
  • 3 years Recent clinical experience in a hospital acute care nursing unit.

Nice-to-haves

  • Data abstraction experience.
  • Electronic medical records experience.
  • Software applications experience, which includes Word Processing and Excel.
  • Research and statistics experience.
  • Bachelor’s in Science of Nursing or higher from an Accredited educational institution.
