Quality Product Acceptance Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level)

About the position

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Quality Product Acceptance Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) to join the Quality Team located in Kennedy Space Center, FL. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements.
• Provides objective evidence of results.
• Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring.
• Identifies and documents discrepancies.
• Segregates and controls non-conforming items.
• Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.
• Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.
• Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.

Requirements

• High School / GED Diploma is required.
• Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
• Experience working or inspecting to non-conformance work orders.
• Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar (QMS) Quality Management System standard.

Nice-to-haves

• 3 or more years of related work experience.
