About the position

The Regional Marketing Director will collaborate and work closely with the Regional Managing Partner, Managing Partners, Chief Practice and Innovation Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Brand Officer, Director of Business Development, industry leaders, marketing & business development team members, and office marketers to develop and implement top strategic growth opportunities. This individual will be responsible for directing all marketing efforts and team members within their region and leading various aspects of marketing, including marketing campaigns and strategies, target lists, growing name and consistent national brand recognition, event strategies, social media, advertising, trade association and publications, project management, media relations, market and competition analysis, internal communication, new market penetration, and more. This leader must be able to collaborate, coach teams, think critically, and develop/drive strategy to align with firm Industry Strategic Plans (ISPs) and growth initiates.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates & communicates with individuals throughout the organization to ensure great teamwork, accountability, and execution of firm strategies
  • Possesses impeccable leadership skills & hires, coaches, manages, & develops regional marketing team members to execute effective growth strategies
  • Ability to proactively create & execute strategic growth initiatives for their regional markets, e.g., National Industry Strategic Plans, etc.
  • Demonstrates a high-level understanding of top firm growth opportunities, resources, processes, initiatives, & services for marketing & business development opportunities
  • Implements & holds individuals accountable to driving growth
  • Directs pipeline management & target acquisitions, strategies, & tactics to win new work & large opportunity support in their regions
  • Takes broad concepts & strategy & thinks critically on how to execute on these concepts
  • Understands, educates others, & creates opportunities to leverage thought leadership activities including speaking opportunities, social media, articles, webinars, & videos for business development efforts
  • Directs relationships, attends, evaluates, & coordinates association & conference activities including memberships, logistics, sponsorships, special events, thought leadership opportunities, & post-event/conference business development efforts
  • Oversees & generates ideas for Forvis Mazars hosted events including primary goals & objectives, location, target audience, session details, invitations, & post-event follow up
  • Identifies target markets & prospects, implements action to best capitalize on the opportunity, and ensures they are included in Forvis Mazars systems
  • Collaborates with industry professionals on market & competition analysis, strategies to capitalize on the information, & project management
  • Anticipates opportunities by thinking from the client's perspective; educates others on best practices in marketing, advertising, & adhering to Forvis Mazars' marketing philosophy
  • Master social media outlets, strategies, training resources, & activity, & proactively develops strategies for others in their region
  • Demonstrates the ability to identify & capitalize on prospect & client cross-serving opportunities
  • Supports new markets (M&A) to ensure implementation of comprehensive growth/branding plan

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 15 years or more of experience in related field
  • CRM experience
  • Excellent computer & software skills, including experience with Excel
  • Experience directing successful, modern integrated marketing campaigns

Benefits

  • Salary range for New York: $149,000 - $310,000
  • Salary range for Illinois: $135,000 - $281,000
