About the position

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Retail Marketing Manager to join our team! Report to the Director Product Management & E-Commerce. Seeking dynamic leader that has a passion for sales growth. Responsible for promoting sales growth through retail stores & digital channels. Involved in product campaigns and launches, planning, advertising, pricing, campaigns, promotions, brand management, interacting with branch managers and region management. Requires 5 years current or recent marketing or brand management experience. Experience with managing retail stores at a regional / national level.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Management and vendors on product placement, new product launches, and Product of the Month promotions to drive branch engagement and ensure success of the programs
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that unify branch POS systems, distribution centers, and the LindeDirect website, with a focus on measuring and growing omnichannel performance
  • Create and roll out a national retail brand to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience across all locations
  • Design and implement a comprehensive retail training program to elevate in-store service and product knowledge
  • Establish improved communication processes to keep store personnel informed about training, vendor compliance, product updates, and promotional campaigns
  • Collaborate with the Pricing team to review and optimize retail pricing, ensuring competitiveness and profitability
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to support pricing promotions
  • Manage store locator on LindeDirect and related search engine listings
  • Coordinate the transition of new locations that have websites to newly created welcome pages on LindeDirect
  • Work with the Regions to set up product displays, optimize product placement, and execute local advertising for new store openings
  • Operate independently in planning and executing initiatives, while also contributing to the strategic direction of the broader marketing team
  • Serve as an expert resource for colleagues, influencing the development of marketing approaches across the organization
  • Proactively identify emerging trends, customer needs, and operational challenges, and translate them into actionable marketing strategies
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or STEM or 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in retail sector, managing and growing sales via leveraging all retail platforms
  • Technically proficient with MS Office suite
  • Self-sufficient analyzing sales and marketing data using Excel, OBIEE and Tableau
  • Lead diverse teams in the development and implementation of new programs on a national scope
  • Build personal networks of key stakeholders across regions at all levels of the organization to successfully drive programs to full implementation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong teamwork skills and proven ability to work under tight deadlines
