As a Senior RF Systems Architect Engineer for Advanced Electronics Systems, you'll lead a cross functional team responsible for envisioning and realizing the next generation of tactical radios and GPS/Navigation solutions for the US Armed Forces.
Responsibilities
Architect radio communication systems tailored for military applications, ensuring interoperability, security, and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and logistics, to integrate radio systems into broader military platforms.
Oversee testing and validation of radio systems to ensure compliance with military standards and specifications.
Provide technical expertise and support during system integration and field deployment.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in military communications and radio systems.
RF signal processing system design.
System modeling, simulation, and algorithm development.
Collection and analysis of communication signals in L, C, and K spectrums.
Ability to lead interdisciplinary teams.
Performance evaluation of signal processing solutions.
Signal processing background. Solid understanding of concepts like adaptive filtering, FFTs, windowing, filtering, decimation, and interpolation.
Signal processing and digital signal processing (DSP) specifically in the realm of communication theory, stochastic processes, and adaptive filtering.
Work effectively in a cross functional team as well as a diverse customer base.
Develop testing criteria and execute validation of designs.
Experience working in a fast-paced development environment focused on fielding complex signal processing solutions.
Proficient in signal processing algorithm development in MATLAB or Python.
Demonstrated problem-solving, verbal and written communication, presentation and organizational skills.
Proven technical leadership skills ability to generate and deliver creative problem solutions.
Strong ability to manage tasks and projects independently with urgency.
Ability to travel worldwide, up to 20%.
Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
10+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 8 years of job-related experience.
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
U.S. citizenship is required.

Strong understanding of military communication protocols, frequency allocation, and secure communications.
Experience with software-defined radio (SDR) technologies.
Proficiency in design and simulation tools for RF and communication systems (e.g., MATLAB, RF Toolbox).
Programming languages such as Rust, Python, MATLAB/Simulink, C, C++.
FPGA Design, HDL (Verilog or VHDL).
Knowledge of AMD FPGA/SoC devices.
Advanced Linux operating systems knowledge (Drivers, networking, system services, etc.).
Multi-threaded and multi-core programming.
