Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable for a group of patients during a designated time frame.
- Provide care to patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members.
- Supervise the activities of Licensed Practical Nurses, Unit Assistants, Monitor Technicians, Certified Nursing Assistance, Nurse Technicians, unit clerks and Paramedic technicians.
Requirements
- Successfully completed Board Certified Nursing Program.
- Current LA RN licensure.
- Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications (ALS/PALS within 6 months of hire) through any International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) provided courses.
Nice-to-haves
- One year of acute Emergency Department experience preferred.
