DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Jose is looking for its next Sales and Marketing Coordinator! The hourly rate range for this role is $23.00-$25.00 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for initiating reservations for group attendees and for Airline crew, preparing rooming lists, revising existing reservations, building group blocks in the PMS and R&I.
  • Data entry using Delphi FDC, Microsoft Word, Excel, R&I, Passkey, OnQ PMS.
  • Responsible for processing commissions, rebates, comp rooms earned, complete pick up and ensure billing is complete, including securing credit card from customers and entering into PMS.
  • Initiating and copying and distributing of internal/external letters, forms, bookings, contracts, resumes, reports, room lists, schedules, key packets and mail as needed.
  • Answer telephone and assist internal and external guests with requests.
  • Attends departmental meetings and other scheduled meetings to support business operations.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Assist with special projects assigned by management.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with other departments, employees, and guests.

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and in a group environment with strong interpersonal and team work skills.
  • At least one (1) year of administrative experience is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Sales, Front Desk, or Marketing experience is an asset.
  • Hotel experience is an asset.
  • Experience with OnQ PMS and/or Delphi is a plus.
  • 4-year college degree preferred.
