Position Summary:
The Director of Business Development will drive revenue growth and expand Spring Hills Home Care Caring with a Commitment to Quality" mission through cultivating relationships and partnerships with professionals in the senior industry. Spring Hills Home Care-FL is looking for an experienced, knowledgeable, professional sales and marketing person to assist with the onboarding process of our clients, growing our brand awareness, educating the community on our non-medical services, and developing strong partnerships with referring professionals. As a leader of non-medical home care, we strive for our clients to have excellent customer service throughout the entire experience with Spring Hills Home Care. This position would be the initial point of contact with Spring Hills Home Care-FL.
Essential Functions:
* Works closely with the Business Operations Manager in the development and execution of the weekly outreach plan and outside community involvement.
* Develops relationships with professional referral sources and introduces home care services to the public. (i.e. physicians, hospitals, senior centers, SNFs, etc.)
* Successfully meets weekly goals of referral outreach.
* Demonstrates a strong knowledge of One on One sales strategy and implementation.
* Successfully obtains One on One discovery and participates in home visits and creative follow up.
* Works with Spring Hills Assisted Living Sales teams to assist their prospects with Home Care services
* Facilitates Top Ten Daily Meetings and other relevant meetings.
* Increases and maintains sales goals. Converts prospects into clients.
* Facilitates agency events to promote home care services and company brand.
* Shares sales discovery with care team during conference meetings.
* Maintains current knowledge of key competitor pricing, strengths, and weaknesses
* Maintains a detailed, manual tracking system on all prospects and referrals.
* Monitors sales call activity by daily activity sheets, completes weekly sales reports in a timely manner, and distributes census report to appropriate personnel.
* Ensures that the marketing plans meet all expectations for budget and sales goals.
* Collects information and completes quarterly marketing plan.
* Attends work as scheduled, including nights and weekends, and follows call-off procedures.
* Participates in Manager on Duty Program (see below)
Manager on Duty Program
* All management staff will be on call on a rotating basis 1 week at a time. On Call will include after 5pm Monday through Friday, all day weekends and holidays
* Answers incoming calls promptly and efficiently. An immediate response is required.
* Promptly communicates issues/concerns/actions to Director or RN Supervisor
* Completes and maintains on call report on a daily basis
* Reviews on call report with appropriate personnel weekly/daily as needed
Non-Essential Functions:
* Attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
* Maintains confidentiality of business policies & procedures, clients and prospective clients information.
* Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
* Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward clients, visitors, families, and co-workers.
* Adheres to all policies and procedures of Spring Hills Home Care Services.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Qualifications/Skills/Educational Requirements:
Some College ; one to two years related experience and/or training; or 1-2 years of documented sales experience
