About the position
Under the general supervision of the Bureau of Correctional Enterprises (BCE) Sales and Marketing Manager, this position is primarily responsible for learning current and new enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems including entering complex furniture and sign orders, maintaining customer relationship management (CRM) software and data, and conducting and/or assisting in the research, design, development and marketing of new and existing products. The position also provides technical and customer services to customers, and miscellaneous administrative support to BCE management staff. In addition, this position performs a variety of inside sales duties including the representation and promotion of BCE wood and metal furniture, upholstered seating and other products for sale to tax supported and tax-exempt (non-profit) agencies and organizations.
Responsibilities
- Learn current and new ERP systems.
- Enter complex furniture and sign orders.
- Maintain CRM software and data.
- Conduct and assist in research, design, development, and marketing of products.
- Provide technical and customer services to customers.
- Support BCE management staff with administrative tasks.
- Perform inside sales duties for BCE products.
Requirements
- Experience utilizing Sales and Marketing techniques to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Experience utilizing CRM and/or ERP business applications.
- Experience entering data and maintaining sales records.
