About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) Floater is a remote position that requires occasional travel, primarily within the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area. The role is designed for a driven and competitive sales development professional who is committed to providing exceptional service. The SDR Floater will play a critical role in supporting Outside Business Development Managers (BDMs) by securing appointments and spearheading special projects. The position offers a base pay of $22/hour, along with monthly commissions and quarterly bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Secure appointments for Outside Business Development Managers (BDMs).
  • Provide targeted support in areas requiring additional attention or during the absence of assigned SDRs.
  • Spearhead special projects that align with strategic objectives.
  • Participate in tradeshows and events alongside BDMs when their assigned SDR is unavailable.
  • Attend in-person training sessions and company-wide events in the DFW area.
  • Collaborate with the SDR leadership team to refine strategies and optimize market-specific talk tracks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in cold calling, preferably in an SDR position.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, specifically Salesforce.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Experience with sales enablement tools, including SalesLoft.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple BDMs in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong adaptability to different markets and trends.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and competitive with a strong desire to excel.
