About the position

We’re seeking a highly driven and organized Director of Sales & Marketing to take full ownership of our sales and marketing operations. As our first dedicated sales leader, you’ll be instrumental in driving revenue growth, building out our sales and marketing systems, managing all quoting processes, and collaborating closely with the CEO on strategic initiatives including solution design and business development.

Responsibilities

  • Owns the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including warm and cold outreach.
  • Manages and grows the sales pipeline using our CRM; ensure accurate tracking of activities, tasks, meetings, and follow-ups.
  • Owns and administers Zomentum (CRM & quoting), Constant Contact (email marketing), and Kaseya Powered Services (partner marketing resources).
  • Works within and supports usage of the Kaseya BMS PSA system for opportunity tracking, quoting, and project handoff.
  • Works with CEO on high-level deal strategy, pricing, and business development initiatives.
  • Sets and achieves aggressive sales goals; manages multiple opportunities at various stages simultaneously.
  • Leads the quotation process for all non-routine/custom deals.
  • Collaborates with engineers and technical staff to ensure scopes of work are accurate and complete.
  • Owns the final review and delivery of all quotes and proposals to clients.
  • Ensures timeliness and quality control across all sales documentation.
  • Develops and executes a comprehensive marketing strategy in partnership with the CEO.
  • Oversees digital campaigns, email marketing, content development, and lead generation efforts.
  • Coordinates the planning and execution of events, webinars, and trade shows.
  • Aligns marketing efforts with sales goals and measure effectiveness through analytics.
  • Owns the CRM and opportunity tracking systems, ensuring data accuracy and process discipline.
  • Creates and manages sales and marketing workflows to streamline operations.
  • Analyzes and reports on sales and marketing KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage shifting priorities.

  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and proposal-writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and client relationships in a high-paced environment.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive with minimal direction.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent certifications and experience.
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in a solutions/technical or service-oriented field.
  • Proven success managing a sales pipeline and closing deals.
  • Strong experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Proven ability to manage hundred+ opportunities simultaneously and system tracking activities over short and long sales cycles.
