About the position

This position will gain marketable work experience by working with Yavapai College staff, Faculty and affiliates in a group effort to support the mission, goals and values of Yavapai College. The Marketing Assistant will support the Marketing staff by assisting with social media planning, campaign creation and execution, creating and posting social media content to include marketing copy, photographs and videos, digital photography requests, and administrative tasks including tracking earned media, social media reports, signage creation and posting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with social media planning, campaign creation and execution.
• Create and post social media content including marketing copy, photographs, and videos.
• Fulfill digital photography requests, including taking photos of campus people, events, and spaces.
• Track earned media and prepare social media reports.
• Create and post signage.

Requirements

• Must be Federal Work Study (FWS) eligible as determined by the FAFSA.
• Must have current aid year FAFSA verified and on file at Yavapai College.
• Must be enrolled in at least six credits, with one course going toward the program of study.
• Must be in good financial aid standing at Yavapai College.
• Must have unmet need as determined by the FAFSA.
• Must be receiving financial aid from Yavapai College.
• Exhibit patience and a positive attitude in an academic learning environment.
• Demonstrate reliability and good customer service skills.
• Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate time management and organizational skills.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to the code of confidentiality and Yavapai College Code of Conduct.
