About the position

Fun position in the sky, interacting with the Space Needle Guests from all over the world while keeping our glass clean! Excellent entry level position into our facilities department. Responsible for upkeep, cleaning and maintenance of the various glass features of the Space Needle LLC.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and inspect the glass window, barrier and floor panels in the Atmos levels of the Space Needle.
  • Perform AM inspection of all panes of glass, Skyriser benches and rotating Loupe turntable.
  • Inspect, clean and repair various pieces of Glasskeeping equipment throughout the facility.
  • Be flexible with schedule and changes to duties.
  • Provide good guest service skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge (or willingness to learn) of glass cleaning and maintenance.
  • Ability to support the installation of glass floor covers (carbon fiber and carpet).
  • Must enjoy interacting with guests while performing daily duties.
  • Ability to effectively communicate using the English language.
