As part of the Segment Marketing team, this role supports the creation and execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives for the Strategic Wealth Business, focusing on emerging growth opportunities with key client segments, including independent financial advisors and insurance agents.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in executing marketing strategies aimed at driving business growth through the development and distribution of marketing collateral, web content, brochures, direct mail, email campaigns, newsletters, events, and other sales tools.
  • Support the implementation of marketing campaigns such as editing and creating marketing materials, updating webpages, drafting emails and working with compliance for approvals.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with marketing managers to develop and update segment-specific materials for distribution across various platforms.
  • Build customized materials and messaging tailored for strategic partners.
  • Support ad-hoc internal and external communications.
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team and business partners on campaigns and initiatives.
  • Ensure timely communication, coordination, and support for relationship-focused webinars, including invitations, presentation materials, recordings, follow-up emails, registration setup, and live hosting.
  • Liaise with compliance, sales, external agency partners, legal, tax, and NYL corporate teams to ensure deliverables are met in adherence to brand and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 3-5 years marketing experience with investment/finance knowledge.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated individual who can adapt to a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Experience with cross-department collaboration is required.
  • Ability to analyze data and extract actionable insights.
  • Project management skills a plus.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools such as Wrike, Seismic, Tableau, Eloqua/Engage is a plus.
  • Interest or experience in investment/financial services; experience with a brokerage, bank, investment manager, consultant, insurer is preferred.
