Responsibilities

  • Provide transversal functional capabilities to be consumed by all tribes.
  • Build and maintain all the technical blocks necessary to provide customer facing functionalities aimed at B2C and B2B customers.
  • Support customer-facing teams by providing new capabilities in core components, testing, documentation & good practices.
  • Collaborate with product manager on functional and technical discovery of new features.
  • Work closely with fellow senior engineers on the development and delivery of features.
  • Help QA team during testing and validation.
  • Collaborate transversally with other teams to build cross functional functionalities.
  • Produce relevant documentation for the team's scope.
  • Continuously enhance the team's processes and KPIs.

Requirements

  • Senior software engineer with 6-10 years of experience building backend services and applications.
  • Solid technical background in web technologies.
  • Rigor, dynamism, curiosity, and an agile mindset.
  • Experience with problem-solving approach leveraging customer inputs in an iterative manner.
  • Ability to challenge product and stakeholder decisions.
  • Experience with architectural patterns of large-scale applications and coding good practices such as DDD, TDD, BDD.
  • Comfortable writing and speaking in English.

Nice-to-haves

  • Great communication skills to explain work to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Basic knowledge of GraphQL and PHP/Symphony.
  • Good understanding of SQL databases and SQL queries.
  • Comfortable working in a distributed remote team.
