About the position

The Email Marketing Analyst drives campaign efficiency and data integrity, focusing on email strategy optimization and performance. This role partners with product, engineering, and commercial teams to enhance email performance, troubleshoot discrepancies, and deliver actionable insights that boost bookings and reduce cancellations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as one of the go-to experts for email marketing across teams.
  • Work with Product team to develop the email channel for commission-based hotel campaigns.
  • Optimize A/B test frameworks.
  • Translate performance insights into business strategies.
  • Implement multi-ID matching strategies to resolve overlaps.
  • Analyze attribution windows to quantify email’s incremental impact on bookings.
  • Track metrics like open rates, conversion rates, cancellations, and channel cannibalization.
  • Build Tableau/BI dashboards to visualize deduplication rates, booking timelines, and campaign incrementality.
  • Ensure accuracy across systems and flag discrepancies with internal data team.
  • Recommend improvements for email cadence, segmentation, and triggers based on A/B test results.
  • Investigate underperforming campaigns and identify issues in list hygiene, email design, or compliance.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in email platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Braze, Iterable, HubSpot, Mailchimp, or Adobe Campaign).
  • SQL for querying booking data.
  • Tableau for dashboarding.
  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in data or business analytics role or email marketing.
  • At least 1 year of experience in digital advertising including hands-on experience managing email marketing campaigns.

Nice-to-haves

  • BS in Business, Data Analytics, Economics, Marketing, Management, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field; MBA or graduate degree a plus.
  • Familiarity with privacy regulations (CCPA, GDPR) and data compliance in email targeting.
  • Experience with A/B test approach preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balance multiple priorities, and work with remote offices.
