About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking to add several Lead Digital Product Managers to join the Authentication group within Strategy, Digital, and Innovation (SDI). These individuals will be responsible defining pillars of the product life cycle from Discovery through Product Work Alignment. Will work across multiple product areas to understand the ideas and needs of the business. Partners with and assists the Capability Leaders & Product Managers to build and maintain their overall strategy, multi-quarter roadmap, prioritization, and approval of roadmap initiatives. Maintains oversight for new controls and existing controls in the identity space impacting the Consumer Bank, and other lines of business. Leads discovery efforts for new initiatives, managing Epics & features in JIRA as well as managing the overall intake process for digital identity. Represents and assists the team with various executive level routines within SDI.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence digital products, initiatives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs across a functional area within the Digital environment.
  • Provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategies.
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise.
  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking.
  • Coordinate highly complex activities and guidance to others.
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant digital business plans, programs and initiatives which have significant impact.
  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise.
  • Serve as an expert advisor to leadership.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Nice-to-haves

  • 7+ years of process improvement and facilitation across multiple teams and systems (i.e. SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.) and good experience with MS Office suite of tools (i.e. PPT, Excel).
  • Proven experience in developing and managing identity proofing and authentication solutions for account onboarding, with a focus on fraud prevention and expanding the business portfolio.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence.
  • Experience leading, training, and providing feedback to staff and corresponding managers.
  • Knowledge & understanding of measuring & presenting key performance metrics (KPIs).
  • Ability to develop, automate, and streamline reports, analytical scorecards, and business reviews.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication at all levels.
  • A BS/BA degree or higher.
