About the position

Dotdash Meredith is seeking a Senior Manager, Brand Marketing to join our Lifestyle team, contributing to the brand strategy for Travel + Leisure, Midwest Living, and Coastal Living. As an integral part of our Lifestyle Brand Marketing team, you will support the go-to-market pre-sale process and play a strategic role in driving revenue growth with advertising partners across print, digital, and event platforms. You'll collaborate closely with editorial teams and General Managers to develop impactful marketing programs, working alongside Vertical Marketing, Digital Sales, Print Sales, and Strategic Account teams to ensure our offerings effectively drive revenue growth. This hybrid role, based in NYC, requires a minimum of three days in the office each week and reports directly to the Sr. Director, Brand Marketing - Travel Hybrid 3x a week- (New York City) In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Be an expert on the travel brands across all platforms; providing support and regularly continuing brand education to sales and marketing as needed.
  • Work closely with the Editorial teams to develop and refine content strategies based on account-specific and vertical-specific insights; packaging go-to-market materials accordingly.
  • Create presentations and sell sheets that communicate the brands' unique value proposition to advertising clients across all verticals.
  • Present and rollout new brand-driven materials to Sales and Marketing teams across Dotdash Meredith as needed.
  • Partner closely with Editorial, Content Strategy, Research, Account Strategy, and Design to ensure editorial programs are accurately reflected in client pitches.
  • Become an expert on Travel + Leisure's Travel Advisory Board programs and maintain consistent communication with its members.
  • Create new opportunities grounded in the DNA of our brands and brought to life through well-written and visually appealing materials.
  • Develop strong relationships with the Sales and Marketing teams, becoming the expert on brand-driven opportunities that can support their business; provide support on client calls, as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3-5 years relevant experience at a digital and/or print publisher, with a focus in pre-sales marketing; background in Travel category is a plus.
  • Excellent creative writing and storytelling skills with an ability to execute visually impactful presentations (fluent in Keynote and Powerpoint).
  • Excellent communicator, who remains poised under pressure and can tailor messages for different audiences.
  • Understanding of digital advertising landscape, products, and trends; understanding of print and/or programmatic marketplace is a plus.
  • Self-starter - provide proactive ideas, understand organizational goals, and move initiatives forward.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
