About the position

As the Senior Commercial Manager at HelloFresh, you'll lead efforts to optimize customer retention and lifetime value. You'll meticulously track and analyze key drivers, translating complex data into actionable insights for our growth and product marketing teams. This pivotal role directly informs P&L decisions through commercial modeling and ad-hoc analysis, enhancing customer success and driving sustainable growth. You'll report directly to the Marketing Director of HelloFresh and work cross-functionally across marketing and product teams.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively track and analyze key drivers of brand retention and CLV.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within our growth strategy - at the channel and ad level.
  • Partner with our growth and product marketing teams for implementation.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of leading customer success metrics.
  • Connect the dots between marketing metrics (campaign, messages, audience) and product metrics (NPS, culinary preferences).
  • Translate analyses into actionable steps for campaign managers or product marketers.
  • Provide critical analytical support for various ad-hoc commercial initiatives.
  • Conduct commercial modelling and inform P&L decisions.
  • Translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present compelling slides for formal presentations.
  • Conduct quick, ad-hoc analyses and communicate findings efficiently.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a highly analytical role, preferably within consulting, marketing analytics or commercial finance.
  • Proven ability to independently extract, clean, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Excel and strong capability to read and understand business intelligence (BI) dashboards.
  • SQL proficiency is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, the customer lifecycle, and key commercial metrics, particularly within an e-commerce or subscription-based business.
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and structure analysis from short prompts.
  • Natural collaborator who partners effectively with cross-functional teams.
