About the position

Mount Sinai is embarking on a bold new chapter in systemwide transformation, guided by a strategic roadmap to advance its One Mount Sinai vision. To support and sustain this transformation, we are building our Strategic Communications team and hiring a Senior Manager of Strategic Communications—a key role that integrates enterprise strategy execution, strategic messaging, executive communications, and content leadership to drive alignment, clarity, and impact across the Health System. As Mount Sinai accelerates toward a more integrated, agile, and outcomes-driven future, this role ensures that strategy is not only executed, but clearly understood, visibly led, and meaningfully felt across the institution. This position initially reports to the Chief Marketing Officer/System Strategic Communications Lead and maintains a dotted-line relationship to the Systemwide Strategy Lead, ensuring strong connectivity to the evolving priorities and implementation efforts of the Strategy Office. The Senior Manager will work closely with Strategy and Internal Communications to lead and support content creation, messaging architecture, and narrative development that brings One Mount Sinai to life—particularly at the executive level. This role ensures that what we say and what we do are in lockstep. This is a hands-on, high-output role for a strategic thinker who can build processes around complex ideas, create powerful messaging, and translate executive-level goals into organization-wide, understandable, and relatable deliverables. The successful candidate will thrive at the intersection of big-picture strategy and fine-detail storytelling. To accomplish this, the Senior Manager will partner with executive leadership, content creators, creative/design, and other key members of the Marketing and Communications team.
