About the position

We're looking for a strategic and creative Senior Manager of Strategic Marketing to lead marketing for a single enterprise client, overseeing a national portfolio of 10+ sites. This role owns the full customer journey-from boardroom to breakroom-designing and executing marketing strategies that are insight-driven, operationally sound, and focused on delivering meaningful, relevant experiences to customers at every touchpoint. Working closely with internal partners in Culinary, Finance, and Operations, this leader will shape a scalable marketing vision that drives revenue, supports operational goals, and centers on the evolving needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead marketing strategy across the entire guest journey, creating tailored, relevant experiences from executive-level programs to everyday dining moments.
  • Bring a customer-first lens to every decision, ensuring marketing enhances satisfaction, engagement, and increases profitable growth.
  • Align strategy with customer behavior, site nuances from breakroom, amenities and café.
  • Own quarterly and annual marketing planning across 10+ locations with built-in flexibility for trends, seasonality, and emerging insights.
  • Develop merchandising strategies that elevate presentation and boost sales.
  • Collaborate with Culinary on storytelling, launches, and experience design tied to menu cycles and marketing initiatives.
  • Partner with Culinary, Finance, and Operations to ensure integrated execution and financial alignment.
  • Maintain strong internal rhythms for communication, planning, and review.
  • Manage a direct report and act as a unifying influential force across functions-translating strategic vision into executable action plans.
  • Lead measurement strategy to track performance across all sites and programs.
  • Clearly communicate the marketing and customer strategy to senior leadership to the client and internal leadership team.
  • Deliver clear, visually compelling updates that surface trends, customer feedback, and actionable insights.
  • Continuously optimize marketing based on data, team feedback, and evolving client priorities.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in strategic marketing, preferably with multi-site oversight or complex operational environments.
  • Strong understanding of merchandising, customer behavior, and experience design.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional initiatives and aligning internal partners.
  • Excellent communicator and strategic thinker with strong organizational and storytelling skills.
  • 3+ years managing a small team.
  • Hospitality, food service, or retail industry experience is strongly preferred.
