About the position

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Product Marketing, the Senior Manager of Product Marketing, Data Center & Networking is tasked with developing and implementing marketing strategies for data center and networking products. This role is crucial in ensuring that product marketing efforts are aligned with product capabilities and market demands. The Senior Manager will drive customer engagement and contribute to business growth by executing marketing strategies developed at higher management levels. This position involves collaborating with Product Management, Technical Product Marketing, Solution Marketing, and Sales Enablement teams to ensure seamless product launches and marketing operations without direct reports.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for data center and networking products, with a focus on market analysis, segmentation, and targeting.
  • Develop effective product positioning, launch strategies, and sales enablement tools under the strategic direction set by senior leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for product enhancements and new offerings based on market feedback and technological trends.
  • Maintain product messaging and positioning consistency across all marketing and sales channels.
  • Produce compelling marketing content that effectively communicates product benefits, features, and differentiators to engage the target audience.
  • Foster collaboration across Product Management, Technical Product Marketing, Solution Marketing, and Sales Enablement to optimize go-to-market processes.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics to gauge marketing effectiveness, market penetration, and customer feedback.
  • Support integrated marketing efforts by building strong relationships with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in product marketing within the B2B tech industry, particularly focusing on networking products and services.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively execute marketing strategies in a dynamic technology environment.
