About the position

The Senior Manager Product Marketing for Footwear is responsible for creating and driving high performance, consumer relevant footwear for the Global BU Originals. This role requires expertise in the North American lifestyle market, providing insights to the Global HQ Team to shape the Global range direction.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and tell relevant stories for adidas Originals target consumers, Global with specific expertise on NAM.
  • Position the product segment using supporting analysis from market data and trends.
  • Manage the range plan from product brief to commercialization including process (Calendar, SKU’s, Amortization…).
  • Identify opportunities for growth and assist in the creation of the relevant category plan.
  • Drive and ensure strategic business plan targets.
  • Coordinate and provide support and partnership for and with Design, Development, Brand Communications, etc.
  • Support in presenting the Category and Range both internally and externally (Meetings, Launches, etc.).
  • Build consumer networks and customer relationships to ensure consistent product feedback.
  • Provide clear direction to direct reports and other members of the team.
  • Build relationships with relevant stakeholders across business units.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of lifestyle footwear, fashion, and streetwear culture.
  • Thorough understanding of consumer markets; prior product FTW creation experience necessary.
  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners as necessary.
  • Ability to provide product leadership, including ability to manage/mentor junior team members.
  • International experience preferred.
  • Strong presentation and planning skills.
  • Strong process and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
