Senior Manager, Product

About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Manager to lead Prior Authorization (PA) Product within the Clinical Operations Technology organization. In this role you will be responsible for driving the PA Platform strategy, Product ownership within the PA Platforms, maintaining alignment with organizational goals, and guaranteeing the intended value is achieved. You will partner closely with PA Operations, Information Technology (IT) Development, IT Support, Process Innovation, Finance, HR, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, Analytics & Behavior Change (A&BC), and other partners.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for strategic technology initiatives focused on Prior Authorization and clinical innovation, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Develop product requirements and roadmaps and incorporates feedback from customers into the product strategy.
• Adopt a system-oriented mindset to find synergies across projects and initiatives, promoting efficiency.
• Collaborate effectively with technology teams providing constructive feedback when needed while maintaining a strong focus on timely delivery.
• Participate in change management to ensure proper rollout to end users.
• Identify project risks proactively and work to mitigate them effectively.
• Contribute to OKR (Objectives and Key Results) reporting for Product focused initiatives, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Maintain end-to-end ownership throughout project lifecycles, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.
• Build and nurture cross-functional relationships to facilitate collaboration and disseminate timely project updates.
• Monitor budgets and promptly raise concerns regarding financial implications.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Product Management, and the planning and execution of Product Strategy within a healthcare environment.
• 7+ years of experience in Product Management methodologies and best practices.
• 3+ years of experience in a people management role.
• Experience articulating complex concepts to diverse audiences, including executives.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of pharmacy prior authorization process and workflows.
• Familiarity with CVS Caremark's PA Products - CAS, MedHOK, and Novologix.
