About the position

American Honda Motor is looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Analyst to drive customer growth by optimizing our marketing investment. This position monitors marketing performance in driving customer awareness and consideration of our products, and our website's ability to convert consumer interests into customers. This role will partner with the marketing team and agencies, establishing a data-driven approach to increase the effectiveness of Honda's marketing programs.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness in generating product consideration and converting leads to customers.
  • Develop insights that improve our marketing campaign and website's ability to drive demand.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify data sources and opportunities for additional analysis.
  • Create reporting and analysis for marketing ROI across all sources through analytics, insights, and experimentation.
  • Utilize SQL for querying data from LiveRamp, Adobe Analytics, and internal data sources to analyze the customer acquisition and retention journey.
  • Work with agencies on marketing mix and attribution models to understand the value of various customer engagements and actions.
  • Present marketing performance and insights on monthly functional reviews and planning.
  • Manage ad-hoc analytic requests on paid media and website performance.
  • Support Marketing with the quarterly and annual planning process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, etc.)
  • 5+ years of industry experience in an analytical role (e.g. Marketing Analytics, Website Analytics, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience working with marketing teams, sales, and marketing agencies.
  • Experience in website or mobile application analytics using Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
  • Experience in SQL and strong knowledge of relational databases.
  • Experience in analyzing data and creating dashboards in PowerBI, Tableau, or other BI applications.
  • Experience leveraging data insights to influence business decisions and communicate complicated analysis insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to establish and execute work plans across internal and external teams.
  • Demonstrates clear communication and presentation skills (oral and written).
  • Ability to work independently and exhibit curiosity and problem-solving skills.
